Our core offering includes a suite of products and tools made for businesses to communicate more effectively, both internally and with their customers around the globe.

Our goal is to become the global leader in Language AI and build products that help drive better communication, drive connection, and make real-life impact. What sets us apart

When we tell people about DeepL as an employer, the reactions are overwhelmingly positive. Maybe it's because of the products that have helped countless people worldwide, or maybe it's because of our shared goal of improving communication for individuals and businesses worldwide. What we're certain of is this: being part of DeepL means joining a team committed to innovation and the well-being of its employees.

As VP of Corporate Finance, you will play a crucial role in shaping DeepL’s financial strategy and driving investor engagement. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead key initiatives related to corporate finance, strategic finance, corporate development, and - dependent on your prior experience - investor relations. This is a high-impact role that requires a strategic mindset, strong financial acumen, and exceptional communication skills.

Your responsibilities

  • Optimise capital structure and manage capital allocation to maximise shareholder value
  • Identify, evaluate and present potential M&A opportunities aligned with our strategic objectives
  • Set up comprehensive due diligence, financial analysis, and valuation assessments for either fundraising, capital markets, or M&A activity.
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, investment banks, and other key stakeholders
  • Develop and implement financial planning and investor communication strategies, including earnings releases, investor presentations, and roadshows
  • Monitor market trends, analyst reports, and shareholder feedback to inform strategic decision-making and messaging
