What will you be doing at DeepL?

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial salesperson who wants to get in on the ground floor at one of Europe’s most exciting technology companies as a member of a new sales team. DeepL is backed by the same team that did Uber, Twitter, Instagram, and Zendesk, and is already experiencing a high rate of growth.
You'll be responsible for running an inbound pipeline of sales opportunities and for the expansion of existing accounts across a very large customer base. You will bring with you a consistent record of achievement in sales. Experience in software/software as a service (SaaS) sales is a plus.

Your responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed monthly activity, pipeline, and revenue goals
  • Become an expert on DeepL’s products and make discovery calls, presentations, and demonstrations with prospects and customers
  • Respond to a large number of inbound leads, as well as existing customers
  • Continue building a pipeline of new business, and pursuing upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with accounts in your book of business
  • Forecast and track all opportunity and customer details including use cases, purchase timeframes, and next steps

About you

  • 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience; software/SaaS experience preferred
  • Educated to bachelor’s degree level (or equivalent)
    Quick to act, learn, and adapt in a fast-changing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, plus one other European language
  • Team player - supportive of colleagues
