What will you be doing at DeepL?

As Onboarding Manager you will provide a structured onboarding process for all our revenue departments Sales, Marketing and Support. In a very dynamic environment with new hires every month, you can set a high qualitative standard through an efficient onboarding process. New colleagues are productive faster, have less ambiguities and queries and therefore bring their full performance to the company sooner, which is a result of your work. Through your good communication and collaboration with the heads of different departments you stay up to date.


Your responsibilities

  • Develop a good understanding of our revenue processes and systems
  • Create an efficient onboarding structure for our revenue teams in a highly dynamic environment (with a focus on the sales team for the start)
  • Maintain the onboarding structure by continuous improvements
  • Do monthly onboardings for our new hires by live coaching and asynchronous information exchange
  • Collaboration with the knowledge management team to document internal knowledge
  • Collaborate with revenue leads and team-internal knowledge carriers to align, expand, and improve onboarding efforts
  • Work with broader teams such as P&C (People&Culture) to stay on top of company-wide developments
  • Be a go to person for new hires and your colleagues for requests
  • Conduct training and create documentation for updates or new systems or processes

About you

  • 2 years of coaching experience
  • Quick thinking, quick learning
  • A collaborative working style, with experience working across the company with teams of size to achieve common goal
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team in a fast pace, rapid change environment with teams of varied size to achieve common goals
  • Proficiency in at least one of the revenue areas (preferably in Sales) and deep understanding of processes in this area
  • Excellent presentation skills (oral and written), as well as ability to motivate, teach, empower and inspire
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Hubspot, Salesforce and Zendesk proficiency are a plus
