The Marketing Growth Manager position at DeepL calls for a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in managing comprehensive, end-to-end marketing campaigns. The primary objective is to develop and execute data-driven demand generation plans to meet sessions/signups goals and sales pipeline targets in emerging markets. This role demands a profound understanding of product-led growth (PLG) motions, B2B marketing channel strategies, and exceptional project management capabilities. As part of the Marketing organization, the Marketing Growth Manager will join DeepL’s Demand Generation Team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Growth and Performance.

Your responsibilities

  • Multi-Channel Marketing Campaigns: Design, manage, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive demand generation and achieve session/signup goals.

  • Agency Experience: Leverage experience working within a marketing agency or managing media agency operations in-house to effectively collaborate and manage external partners.

  • Performance Marketing: Execute performance marketing strategies on platforms like Google Ads, Meta/Facebook, and LinkedIn to maximize reach and engagement.

  • Digital Campaigns: Lead digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals and objectives.

  • Financial Planning: Manage financial planning including budgets, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient resource allocation and ROI.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to craft go-to-market (GTM) strategies in emerging markets (e.g. Spain, Brazil, Nordics etc…).

  • Strategic Planning: Define marketing priorities and investment models, identify effective digital channels and scaling mechanisms, and establish success metrics for marketing initiatives in specified markets.


Qualities we look for

  • Experience: 3-5 years experience, Proven track record in managing end-to-end multi-channel marketing campaigns.

  • Agency Experience: Significant experience in a marketing agency setting or managing media agency operations in-house.

  • Performance Marketing: Expertise in performance marketing on platforms like Google Ads, Meta/Facebook, LinkedIn, Display, etc.

  • Digital Marketing: Demonstrated success in executing digital marketing campaigns across various platforms.

  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial planning skills with experience managing budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally

  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to define priorities, investment models, and success metrics for marketing initiatives.

  • Self-Motivation: High level of motivation and a proactive attitude towards digital marketing and campaign optimization. Positive mindset essential for success in this role.
