What will you be doing at DeepL?

DeepL is seeking a creative, analytical, and strategic customer marketer who will create and execute marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy. As a Customer Marketing Manager, you’ll have a strong passion for serving and understanding customers, and will focus on the success and growth of our existing customers.


Your responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, execution, and tracking of customer marketing initiatives
  • Build rapport with customers to increase renewals, referrals, and cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Lead and manage customer engagement and communication programs, such as onboarding at scale, ongoing nurture campaigns, customer success stories, advocacy programs, customer satisfaction surveys, in-person/virtual events and workshops
  • Connect with customers to ensure continued education and success throughout the relationship lifecycle
  • Identifying key customers that can act as a marketing channel through case studies, speaking opportunities, etc.
  • Help marketing and sales meet business objectives through customer advocacy initiatives

      About you

      • 4+ years of experience in marketing, with 2+ years in customer marketing roles (ideally in B2B organizations)
      • A self-starter by nature but comfortable with working in a team
      • Experience creating and executing customer marketing campaigns, and managing programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy (including email marketing, webinars, case study programs, social proof, review management, etc.)
      • Proven ability to consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources (e.g. website, email, social media, webinar tools)
      • Ability to deliver clear, concise, and reliable reporting on all activities to key stakeholders
      • Track record of consistently delivering excellent results in a fast-paced environment
      • Growth mindset with results-driven approach to work (testing, measuring, iterating)
