What will you be doing at DeepL?
DeepL is seeking a creative, analytical, collaborative product marketer to join our fast-growing team. As the Product Marketing Manager for Apps, you will be responsible for the discovery, adoption and retention of our mobile and desktop apps, manage the store presence, dive deep into consumer insights, help drive product strategy, and lead go-to-market efforts.


The ideal candidate will enjoy working cross-functionally, be motivated by delivering on product adoption results and already have experience with apps.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead go-to-market planning and launches for DeepL desktop (Windows, MacOS) and mobile apps (iOS, Android)
  • Manage the store presence of our mobile apps (App Store, Google Play Store), and desktop apps (eg. Microsoft Store) and optimize it through ASO
  • Monitor market trends, such as emerging technologies, changing customer needs and behaviors, and competitive landscape
  • Act as a key partner to product and management teams in defining roadmaps, market sizes, and user needs
  • Drive user acquisition, activation and retention campaigns for the Apps product segment
  • Partner with Content and Marketing teams to create Sales and Support enablement materials

About you

  • Strong experience of marketing with some time spent focussing on product marketing, with technology and/or start-up experience 
  • Creative story teller with excellent communication, presentation, organization and writing skills 
  • Experience working on product marketing throughout a product’s lifecycle 
  • Experience taking apps to market and growing them is preferred
  • Growth mindset with a results-driven approach to work (testing, measuring, iterating)
  • Strength in analytics, critical thinking, and reasoned judgment 
  • Combination of strategic thinking and the ability to roll up sleeves and get things done
