What will you be doing at DeepL?

At DeepL, we work at the cutting edge of science and technology to deliver the world's best AI communication technology. In order to do this, we are constantly improving our hard-/ and software to train, evaluate and inference our advanced neural networks at scale.
We are looking for Machine Learning Engineers with a proven track record to collaborate with our Researchers on designing, building, and maintaining the necessary infrastructure to enable this.


Your responsibilities
  • You work in close collaboration with our research scientists to develop cutting-edge prototypes into fully-fledged products
  • You improve robustness, scalability and maintainability of our Deep Learning codebase
  • You help to unlock the full potential of our large-scale, high-performance GPU research cluster

About you
  • You have a strong background in software engineering and enjoy solving challenging
  • Master's degree, diploma or doctorate in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a
    related field
  • Programming experience in Python and at least one other programming language,
    preferably C++
  • Demonstrated ability to develop robust, production-ready code for data driven
  • High proficiency in English, knowledge of German is advantageous
