What will you be doing at DeepL?

DeepL is seeking a creative, analytical, and strategic developer marketer who will build and manage marketing programs that engage, educate, and inspire developers to adopt DeepL. As a Developer Marketing Manager, you’ll help establish our marketing funnel for the developer audience. You’ll build programs that get DeepL's brand in front of the right audience and programs that motivate them to start building and translating with DeepL. This will entail advising on paid media spend, optimizing ad experiences, and A/B testing messaging and landing pages.

Your responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, execution, and tracking of developer marketing initiatives
  • Build out a framework for how we will continually optimize our developer-focused demand generation efforts
  • Define strategic content development plans to support customer acquisitions goals at the top, middle and bottom funnel
  • Advise on the paid media channel mix and budget to effectively build awareness with developers and drive API adoption
  • Work with the team of product managers and engineers to create technical content such as tutorials, blog posts, screencasts, webinars, etc.

      About you

      • 4+ years of experience in marketing, with 2+ years in developer marketing roles (ideally in B2B organizations)
      • A self-starter by nature but comfortable with working in a team
      • Experience in creating and executing developer marketing campaigns, and managing programs that drive technical product adoption
      • Proven ability to consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources (e.g. website, email, product)
      • Ability to deliver clear, concise, and reliable reporting on all activities to key stakeholders
      • Track record of consistently delivering excellent results in a fast-paced environment
      • Growth mindset with results-driven approach to work (testing, measuring, iterating)
